The Delivery Hero Team

Delivery Hero team

It must be something to do with Delivery Hero’s super powers because the crew at DH Headquarters seems to have magically grown in leaps and bounds these last few months. Now a team of twenty, we’re a marvellously motley mob made up of managers, sales representatives, editors, a systems administrator and engineer, an analyst and trusty intern! (And breathe). Try saying that ten times fast! Anyway, we’ve been working together like the proverbial well-oiled machine while we toil away to make the Delivery Hero launch a roaring success.

We’ve been kept busy building great relationships with a network of restaurants to guarantee Delivery Hero will bring you the huge variety and great quality of food Australia has to offer. And of course, being an online food ordering platform, there has also been an awful lot of time ensuring our website is packed with information and ready for users to enjoy from the get-go.

Delivery Hero is not the serious, black cloak disappearing into the night and brooding over Daddy issues type of super hero. He’s a fun loving lad, albeit with some impressive powers, and wants everyone to have a good time. Here at DH Headquarters, we’re into creating a fun atmosphere so that our team genuinely enjoy coming to work. We want our customers to feel the Delivery Hero happy vibes too; with a personal approach defining the way we provide our great customer service.

Delivery Hero is super excited about the future and the opportunities that will mean for our customers, clients and team members alike. We’re really looking forward to expanding our team as we launch in other major Australian cities later this year!

The Launch of Delivery Hero

Hey there hungry people of Australia! It’s time to sound the trumpets and cue the fireworks because there’s a new Hero in town and he’s all about getting your food to you faster than a speeding train…yes, you heard it here first: Delivery Hero has arrived Down Under! Already rescuing those suffering from empty kitchen cupboards and stomachs over in Europe, Delivery Hero has now come to the Land of Oz with plans to revolutionise online food ordering and deliveries.

Preparations for this monumental event began in late June with the recruitment of an ever so talented and motivated team who henceforth may be referred to as Heroes… if the shoe fits! Next, a place to call home was sought, found and promptly moved into. As with all good heroes (are there any bad ones?!) we move fast when we need to get something done! Setting up the office was no small affair and so it was all Heroes on deck to get things up and running in double-quick time.

We’re pleased as punch with our new office. It’s located in the inner-city suburb of Broadway in Sydney. As a real estate agent would no doubt brag…this fantastic spot is situated near two large universities, with great links to public transport and lots of shops right outside the door. Best of all there’s a large food court nearby!

Delivery Hero launch in Australia

Ready for your online takeaway food delivery!

Now the beta release (that’s testing phase in techie-talk) of Delivery Hero has been begun, our team won’t need to go forage in the food court when hunger strikes and the real excitement begins. Along with our Heroes, friends, family and those in the know, they will test drive the site, ensuring we make it the best possible online food ordering platform in Australia. Being a beta tester has never been more fun (or delicious) – when the result is a promptly delivered meal of your choice brought to your door. Yee-har!

Delivery Hero is being launched in Sydney but one day not too far away we’ll be bringing our online culinary connections and delivery data to the rest of Australia. Watch this space for updates as our journey unfolds… a tale of adventure and the best food to be found, it’s bestseller material there is no doubt.

We’re feeling pretty chuffed over here at Delivery Hero Headquarters – it’s been hard work but we’re live and online and looking forward to the future. Right now however, we’re going to find those fireworks (and some cutlery and plates) to celebrate the present by marking the launch with a well-deserved drink and something good to eat. Time to order in I think!
